A downloadable app for macOS

Thanks for visiting this page! I have a new tool for macOS that makes packaging apps, roots, and/or other packages a breeze! You only have to upload the apps, roots, and/or other packages and it will create a package called New Installer.pkg! You may have to rename your package to what you want to name it. You can also choose more than one apps, roots, and/or other packages.

This tool supports .app, .dst, & .pkg files.

This tool was made using Automator in macOS Monterey. The installer was created using this tool.

Install instructions

  1. Make sure the device you are planning to use this app on runs a version of macOS that supports .pkg files so that way you can install it.
  2. Download the installer by clicking "Download". The download button should be on this page. If you can't find it even if it is right in front of you, try and try again.
  3. Double-click the file App Packager Installer.pkg and then follow the steps in the installer in order to install App Packager.
  4. After installing, test the tool by downloading the test installer from this page, opening App Packager, & selecting Test Installer.pkg. You have successfully installed App Packager!
