A downloadable browser for Windows, macOS, and Linux

Have you ever wanted to have a Java-based browser? Are you tired of Google taking every last bit of data you enter in the URL bar? Well, this is for you!

This browser was made in Apache NetBeans 17. I don't know much Java, so I followed a guide, but used their code because of how infuriatingly confusing some of the guide was. It may or may not work. I am NOT responsible for anything that your computer does after running the JAR. It is NOT a virus. You have been warned.

Install instructions

  1. Install the Java runtime if it is not installed. Go to https://www.java.com/download/manual.jsp and click the download button for your OS if you use Linux, macOS, Windows, or Solaris. To run the macOS version, use an Intel Mac as you cannot use an Apple Silicon Mac all that much (or at all).
  2. Download the JAR file on this page.
  3. Double-click the JAR. The browser was made in Apache NetBeans 17, and I just followed a guide, so it may or may not work.
  4. Enjoy (if it works)!
